Veterans Banners

I’ve had a long-standing freelance relationship with the Village of Mendon, creating everything from flyers to logos to community-focused designs. One of the more recent projects I’ve worked on with them has been the Veterans Banners, created to honor the village’s hometown heroes.
I collaborated closely with the village to finalize a design that they were excited about. From there, I carefully edited and restored old photographs, many of them worn or damaged, so they could be proudly displayed on flagpole banners throughout the town. The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive, with residents deeply moved by both the refreshed photos of their loved ones and the banners themselves.
Alongside the veterans banner, we also redesigned their “Welcome to Mendon” banners, replacing the faded originals with a fresh new look. Beyond design, I assisted council members with production, installation, and organization, ensuring every detail came together smoothly.
This project has been a joy to work on and it has been amazing seeing the community’s reaction, we have designed and posted around 20 banners around the small town so far.

Mendon Recycles
Another project I worked on with the Village of Mendon was the Mendon Recycles logo. At the time, the village was working to put a more effective recycling system in place and needed branding that could be applied across dumpsters and bins. I created a clean, recognizable mark that was easy to reproduce and clearly tied to the initiative. This quick branding played a part in helping the village secure a grant to move the project forward.
